Welcome to The Raven’s Library

There is something sacred about unwritten things.  The thoughts we never say aloud.  The stories we carry quietly.  The emotions tucked between journal pages, hidden in the margins, or folded carefully into prayers whispered late at night.

BookWorks by Amanda was created for those things, for the . . .

  • dreamers.
  • overthinkers.
  • readers who underline passages that feel too personal.
  • people healing quietly.
  • ones searching for beauty in ordinary moments.
  • the unorganized chaos gremlin chasing mom (just me… okay)
  • anyone who has ever felt like their story mattered, even when the world moved too fast to notice.

Here inside The Raven’s Library, you’ll find pieces of that world.   Here you will find reflections on writing, journaling, creativity, faith, healing, books, and the strange beautiful ways stories seem to find us exactly when we need them most.  Sometimes it may feel cozy and warm like lantern light in a quiet library.  Other times it may wander into the deeper parts of the forest where truth feels heavier and silence says more than words ever could.

Honestly… I hope it just feels human.  Because BookWorks was never meant to be polished perfection.  It was built from paper scraps, late-night ideas, handwritten thoughts, too many notebooks, prayer, stories, and the stubborn belief that words can still matter in a noisy world.

What started as lets make books and journals has transformed into so much more, at least in my mind.  A place to escape, a place to create ideas, a place to sit and a place to heal.

I don’t say that because I think I’m something special.  I say that because in the late nights, when my mind has drifted into the forest, that has been the place that the Lord has met with me in the most precious ways.  It is my place to escape, to create ideas, to sit and to heal.

If you’ve found your way here, welcome.

Pull up a chair beside the shelves.
Listen to the rain against the windows.
The Raven is somewhere nearby, watching quietly from the branches.

And perhaps, somewhere in these pages, you’ll find pieces of your own story too.

Welcome to the Forest,
Amanda
